Artist Statement

Nabeeha Ahsan is currently pursuing her BFA in Digital Media Art at San José State University. As an interdisciplinary artist, her solo work often utilizes the visual merging of ideas as a tool to reveal greater messaging about time, mental health, and global issues. She has a passion for collaboration as the Vice President of CADRE S.O., with which she exhibited at Maker Faire Bay Area 2025 and plans to at SubZERO Festival 2026. Most recently, she exhibited CADRE Clipper: The Mobile Show (2026) at SJSU and outside SJMA for CADRE 40. She has also worked on metal fabrication for artworks such as Stephanie Dinkins’ Data Trust at the ICA (2025) and the LED Minis for the Super Bowl LX Block Party in San Jose (2026). She has also participated in group exhibitions at the San Jose State Student Art Galleries.
